The Center on Education and Work was recently
awarded a
subgrant from the Wisconsin Technical College and the U.S.
Department of
Education to promote Rigorous Career and Technical Education
Programs of Study.
WTCS will receive $258,400 per year for up to four years to design
and implement
the Wisconsin Advanced Manufacturing Pathway Education Network.
Along with WTCS and the Department of Public
Instruction, CEW will be working with four schools in the Wausau
area and
Northcentral Technical College to implement and evaluate
manufacturing programs
of study.
School teams will meet over
the summer to increase POS curriculum and learn new methods to
incorporate data
into POS program improvements.
