Career Guidance for Persons with Disabilities
Scott Solberg, the Center’s associate director and his colleagues from Italy, have a chapter entitled Career Guidance for Persons with Disabilities in the recently published International Handbook of Career Guidance from Springer. The chapter summarizes policy, empirical and theoretical evidence from
across the globe, which makes two compelling arguments—(a) career identity is a critical resource for individuals and their communities, and (b) social justice outcomes are well served by career guidance services and programs that include the full range of youth and adults with disabilities.
