An Early Evaluation of PLTW in Six Wisconsin Schools

Questions about the educational challenges confronting Wisconsin's economic future are prominent in education, workforce development, and government sectors. During the 2005-07 school years, Center researchers conducted an in-depth review of Wisconsin's K-16 education and workforce development policy context, and examined the early implementation of a nationally prominent engineering education program in two middle schools and four high schools. Funded by the Kern Family Foundation and the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, this study produced three reports, which are useful to educators, policymakers, and business leaders.
